Rianna Chaney, creator of maARTé, a mobile art event studio in Hampton Roads, provides all-inclusive creative experiences for birthdays, community events, and private parties.

Meet the Artist & Creator

Born in Okinawa, Japan, Rianna’s life has been full of color, culture, and constant movement. With her military family upbringing, she learned early on to find inspiration wherever life took her — from new cities and communities to everyday details. After many years on the move, she finally planted her roots in Hampton Roads, where her creativity continues to grow and evolve.

Rianna earned a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Old Dominion University, where her work received multiple awards and recognition. She balances her time between the Iron Asylum Warehouse Gym and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts — two spaces that embody her strength and imagination. At home, she’s inspired by love, laughter, and the joyful chaos of life with her partner, their three kids, and two friendly dachshunds.

Rianna is thrilled to begin this new creative journey with maARTé, turning her lifelong passion into a way to connect with and inspire others. Through her work, she hopes to spread the joy of art throughout the community — bringing people together to create, express, and celebrate the beauty of imagination. Whether through workshops, parties, or her own creations, Rianna’s mission is clear: to make art fun, inspiring, and an open invitation to explore your creative side.
